KinderKarate is all about fun, fitness, developing gross motor skills, and group interaction. Children between the ages of 4 – 7 will try harder when they feel that they are special, so we created a program just for them. Our curriculum accommodates every student’s skills and abilities, setting each child up for success, and building confidence along the way.
The KinderKarate program teaches all of the skills that students will need to work their way up the martial arts belt levels. KinderKarate kids are sharp, focused, and confident, traits that serve them well at home and at school. When compared to children that do not participate in this kind of program, our students are clearly more advanced physically, mentally, psychologically, and socially.
The eight major principles that KinderKarate teaches are:

- Focus & Concentration
- Perseverance & Teamwork
- Courage
- Discipline
- Coordination & Speed
- Fitness & Agility
- Technique
- Flexibility
The KinderKarate program builds flexibility, agility, coordination, and speed. Children develop control over their balance and posture, while learning the mechanics of movement and how it works when they execute a jump, a dodge, or other actions. This physical training lays the foundation for excellent overall technique, which will serve students well in all sports and physical activities.
As well as developing their physical skills, KinderKarate students also strengthen their minds. Our students learn to focus all of their attention on the task at hand. They face their fears and overcome challenges, on their own and with their classmates, in a safe and nurturing environment.
